Hi I'm Tanni

I love to hike, backpack, garden and knit. I love to travel. I speak spanish. I am a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a restless soul, a bit of a gypsy. I have traveled in a volkswagen camper van with my children all over the Western United States and down through Mexico. We have camped in at least 8 of the National Parks and had wonderful times and experiences. I love to see God's creations of nature, the beauty that exists out there in the wilderness areas. When I was young I spent 18 months teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in Puerto Rico. I learned spanish and grew to love the hispanic people. When I got home from my mission I got my pilot's license and flew airplanes for a couple of years. I love to learn and have new experiences. I have been a Labor and Delivery Nurse for the past 30 years and have used my spanish to help women through the birthing experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long line of Mormon pioneers. Great leaders who helped to organize the Mormon church in the early days. I have had so many experiences throughout my life when I have felt the spirit of the Lord confirming my belief in the Mormon church as the Lord's church. I have felt the hand of the Lord leading me and guiding me though out my life as I have raised my four children, taught the gospel of Jesus Christ as a missionary in Puerto Rico and as a member of the women's organization in the church. Each day I have the comfort of knowing that I can talk to my Heavenly Father and ask for his help in my life. I can read his holy scriptures to learn how to better live my life. I can serve other people on the earth that may need to feel someone else cares for them and is willing to share their burden's. I feel the love of God as serve him and reach out to him. You can feel it too.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching it to my children. When my boys were young I was involved in the Boy Scouts of America in several different leadership capacities. All three of my boys became eagle scouts. I am a member of the women's organization of the church. It is a service organization that has the motto Charity never faileth as it's mantra. We share the sisterhood of lifting and helping one another through the trials of life. The depth one can find in the fullness of the gospel always amazes me. I am so thankful for my testimony and understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
