Hi I'm Kevin

I wakeboard, I swim, I do everything in the water. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, I am a 21 year old dude. I have been born of wonderful parents. My Grandparents also are wonderful. They live with me as well as my brother and two sisters. I am the oldest child and Grandchild. In High School I had a very successful career in swimming. I had an awesome group of friends that I hung out with. These friends all went to a different High School so I did not hang out with kids in my own school. I love my Family and the support they give me! I am currently enrolled in Brigham Young University Idaho where my life consists of dating and playing sports with friends. I have never had so much fun in my life! We play sports all the time. In the summer I enjoy wake boarding and anything in the water. During the winter I like to snowboard and try to stay warm. Life is wonderful and I love to live it!

Why I am a Mormon

For me the make or break part were my experiences as a youth. The church has lots of church programs to help the youth avoid bad things and stay entertained. Without the youth programs I would probably not be a good kid and Mormon. I had the best experiences at Youth Conferences. The testimony meetings were the highlight of every trip. It is when I recieved my testimony of Joseph Smith and that I should go on a mission. I had wonderful leaders and friends. I had a time when I was less than exactly obedient and my life was not as blessed or as happy. I know this church is true through the experiences I have had. I would encourage you to ask the Lord your God to find out for yourself if it is true! I would also encourage you to talk to, feed, help, support and do everything you can for the missionaries!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by visiting and checking up on other members of our faith. Once a month we get together personally to see how we are doing. That is plus every week going to church just normally and having fun events and parties together. I also have the privilege up trying to keep a record of people in our church. It is a privilege to be able to help in this area. I have also been to Chile sharing my beliefs with the people there. That was a marvelous experience.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

I have found that the days of y life when I read the scriptures especially the Book of Mormon things seem to go better. That does not mean that my life is easy. But when I have read and trials come I am more able to deal with the problems. My life is happier and I am a more positive person. I suggest that everyone try it for themselves and read everyday for a week. The blessings will come! Show more Show less
