Hi I'm Janelle

I am a racquetball player, I am involved in my community on many levels, I am Mother of 5 incredible kids, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a lot of passion for life and love to learn and do. I was blessed to be able to travel to Israel, Egypt and Jordan and few years ago. I have also been blessed to be able to travel to other parts of this beautiful world and have many dreams in the travel area. I love racquetball and have recently learned to love running. I guess I had to grow up to learn that one. Previously I couldn't understand why anyone would run if there they wasn't a ball involved. I wear many hats in my life: I am a 4-H leader, I am on several boards in our town, I own a gym, I love being a Mom, and I teach adult Sunday School. I listen to several podcasts on my phone each day instead of music. My favoirtes: Stuff You Should Know, Get Fit Guy, Stuff You Missed in History, Classic Speechs (LDS), BYU Devotionals, & Ben Greenfield.

Why I am a Mormon

I did grow up a Mormon, but I remain an active Mormon for many reasons. First, because as I have gained a personal testimony of Jesus Christ and his love of me, and his attention to my life. On many occasions, as I have prayed to Heavenly Father, thru Jesus Christ, and had answers to my prayers in many formats and ways, that he cares for little ole me and about my "little troubles". It boggles my brain, his attention to the details in my life. I am a Mormon because I have gain a personal testimony of his plan for mankind and love the knowledge that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or Mormons, give me about where I came from, where my Grandma is who recently passed away, and what is in store for each of us. I am a Mormon, because I have the gift of the Holy Ghost as a constant companion, thru worthiness. I value that most highly. I would equate living without the Holy Ghost as a constant companion to building a house without power tools. It can be done, but why would you? I am a Mormon because I have studied it, tested it, and proved it.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my community: I own a gym, I am a 4-H leader, I am on the board of 2 different organizations in town, I have served 2 terms a Chamber President, been youth sports coach, and many other things. In my church callings, I have taught the youth, worked with the adult ladies of our church unit or ward, and I currently teach the adult sunday school. My favorite text/description of my recently came from a Nazarene friend of mine: "you aren't religious, you are righteous". I asked her if she would speak for my at the pearly gates. I just try to live on Monday-Saturday, what I learn on Sunday, and each day as I study the words of Christ.
