Hi I'm Gail

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California in a family of eight children. I run a Limousine Company.

About Me

I am always taking pictures. I raise and train dogs. I have a talent for taking care of children, and started babysitting at age 10. Now I say I am a nanny because I get paid better, and have more experience. I have 4 children and 6 grandchidren. I like to bake cookies, garden, and read non-fiction books. I want to get organized, yet my office is a mess! I have volunteered in the PTO, and in Cub Scouts. I feel like I have to always be busy, and be a hard worker. Leaving things a little better than I found them is something my mother taught me. She also taught me how to make balloon bouqets and arches, which come in handy for birthdays. Oh, I make lists everyday of things to do or buy, or I will forget once the day begins. I started digital scrapbooking to make my parents a book of their life. Now I am working on my life story.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon. If I had questions about the gospel I could ask my Dad and he would give me answers and they felt right. As I got older, I did not ever try smoking or drinking. I am glad now that I had standards to live by, and I am healthy and happy because of the churches teachings. When I was in high school I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon all the way through and pray about it. I did, and I had the most wonderful feeling in my soul I cried and thanked my Heavenly Father for the confirmation that the book was true. I also studied books about Joseph Smith and prayed to see if he was a true prophet and again I felt good and that is how I got my testimony. I will always be a believer in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I loved serving as a Wolf Den Leader in the Cub Scouts for three years. I really grew to love the boys, and planned fun outings. I also teach the Dog Care Merit Badge for the Boy Scouts. Right now I serve as an Employment Specialist. I am helping people in my neighborhood set goals and attend training that our church has in our area to help them get a job. I have been self-employed for many years and hope to help others feel the satisfaction of working hard and reaching financial goals. I say a prayer each day to be guided to someone who I can serve. I try to live my religion all through the week, and live how Jesus taught us to. Be kind to children, old people (I am fast approaching) and animals. Help where needed, and serve others. I want to be a good example, my children are always watching and learning from me.
