Hi I'm Bryany

I am a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am a stay-at-home mother that homeschools our four children. I love scrapbooking, cooking and baking, and all types of crafts. I love lazy days when I can enjoy a good book or playing board games with my family. I love cooking and home improvement shows. I love learning and discovering new things.

Why I am a Mormon

There have been times in my life when I have struggles with this very question. I would ask, do I really truly believe in what is not seen? How do I know? What if it is not true? As I was struggling with these questions and doubts someone close to me told me that if you want to know if it is true then just live it. Don't just go through the motions, but truly live it. That advice penetrated my heart and I felt the truth of those words. I decided to live the way the Savior would have me live. As I live it, my testimony grows stronger. I am a Mormon because I have doubted, then studied, then lived the gospel principles. I have learned that there is a Savior and that I am here for a purpose and as I live the teachings of Christ's church, I grow closer to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to live my faith to the best of my abilities. This first begins within my home with my own children. I strive to teach them principles of the gospel, how to be good citizens and how to develop their own testimonies. I am currently working in the Young Womensprogram of the church with some of the most amazing girls. I am also able to work with some of the young women in our community by running a volunteer cheerleading group who cheer for our local school. I love that I have had the opportunities to helps so many young women learn to set goals and achieve them.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Faith can be increased through study, prayer and thinking. Nobody can give us our faith, it has to be earned through some effort. The idea might be planted in our minds, but as we study and pray that idea will develop into a stronger sense of belief. The more effort we put into developing our faith, the stronger it will grow. Be patient, it is a process.. a beautiful process. Show more Show less
