Hi I'm Michele

I am a wife of a chiropractor. I am a stay-at-home mother of seven girls. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in nursing. While in school I had one sweet daughter and one on the way so I opted to stay home instead of go to work after graduation against my instructors advice. I have not regretted it once since then. I now have seven sweet daughters and I wouldn't trade my experiences at home with them for anything else the world has to offer. My free time is mostly spent on my children like getting them to soccer or piano lessons or band concerts. My leftover free time is spent running. I love to run! I have completed two half-marathons so far and look forward to my next one! I also love to go hiking, camping, and being outdoors with my husband and children. I am very passionate about home birth and have had five of my seven children at home with midwives.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that God loves me. I know that Jesus Christ is His Son and my Savior. I know that Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ in answer to his prayer about which church he should join. I know that Joseph Smith translated an ancient record given to him by an angel that we call today the Book of Mormon. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and each time I do my assurity that it is from God grows. I know that we have a prophet here today who receives revelation from God just as ancient prophets did in the Bible. I know that the church Jesus organized in ancient Jerusalem has been restored on the earth today and is called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It means the world to me that I am a member of this church and have the teachings of Jesus Christ to bring light and hope not only into my life but the life of my children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith first and foremost by teaching my children to live like Jesus did. I believe that by teaching my children to be respectful and responsible citizens at home that I am building a better future community. I also organize activities for the women of my church to learn life skills that will improve their lives and the lives of their families. I recently attended a community service project where my family and I helped remove weeds and debris from a local nature trail.
