Hi I'm Ron Lindsay

I'm a construction worker, father of four daughters, husband to the prettiest wife on earth and very grateful to be a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California the oldest of four children. When I was 16 we moved to Las Vegas. After which I attended Brigham Young University and majored in construction management. I had the special opportunity to serve a mission for the Church to New York City speaking Spanish. After graduating from BYU I moved to South Carolina for a few years then I relocated to Bullhead City, AZ. Where I met my beautiful wife, with whom I have 4 daughters. I enjoy reading, playing with my children, wakeboarding and spending time with my wife. I own a small construction company.

Why I am a Mormon

As I grew up and attended Primary each Sunday the teachers continually said we needed to read the Book of Mormon and find out for ourselves if it is true. When I was eleven I decided I would do just that. Each night before going to sleep I would read a few pages of the Book of Mormon. After several months I completed the book and knelt beside my bed. I asked if the book were true and if Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I felt in my heart that it was and that he had seen Them. Since that day my faith has increased as has my knowledge in the gospel. Each day, month and year a few drops are added to my bucket of faith. Now many years later I can say with a certainty that Joseph Smith saw what he said he saw. I understand the importance of that event and I know why I needed to know so desperately as does the rest of the world. Most importantly being a Mormon helps me to worship Jesus Christ as He would have me worship Him. Many people say they worship God in their own way. I want to worship God as He would have me worship. Being a Mormom gives me this opportunity.

How I live my faith

My faith and my beliefs permeate all that I do and all that I am. Everything in my life is done the way it is done because of what I know and what I want to be. Recently I went to the store and the clerk didn't charge me for something. After bringing this to the clerk's attention he looked at me like I was weird. Not having done so would have been dishonest and I would have been embarrassed because Heavenly Father would have known I was dishonest. Each Tuesday I go to church and work with the 12 to 18 year old young men to help them become the type of men their Father would have them be. Even though I don't have any sons of my own I feel that this is important and I have a responsibility to help others as I was helped as a young man.
