Hi I'm Drew Hunsaker

I am a sign professional in Phoenix AZ. I have the most amazing wife and 3 wonderful children. I speak Japanese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I left home many years ago, I had an important decision to make. I was a young 19 year old with many wild dreams of success. The first Sunday came quickly and I had to decide whether to go to church or go the way of the world. As I look back, it was not a difficult decision. I chose to go to church. Ever since then I have always believed that, if you do what the Lord expects of you, he will fulfill all of the righteous desires of your heart. Well, that being said. I was able to serve the Lord Jesus Christ for 2 years in Japan as a missionary. I was able to find my eternal companion almost 2 years later. I believe that I married the right woman for the right reason, in the right place. We have been married for 34 years and have had such a great relationship. We have found that we can spend everyday together, doing what we love, teaching our children the things in life that really matter most. I lost my job of 16 years, back in 1999 when my oldest was 14 years old. I believe that the Lord has provided for us a good living and made a way for both of us to be at home together. The greatest blessing we could ever hope for was to be there for our children as they learn the lessons of life. Our children are all married now and have a great start in life because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ We can't help but see that our 3 children are prepared for the future and have a testimony that will help them be strong as they begin their families.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to make this short and sweet. The reason that I am a Mormon is that I asked My Heavenly Father to bless me with the Holy Ghost, because He promised that He would send the Holy Ghost to me. He did and now I know that Jesus is the Christ and this is his true and living church.

How I live my faith

My wife and I live everyday sharing how the gospel blesses our lives. We believe that people are searching for the truth. We never judge people by the way they look or act, we have learned to love people the way that the Savior did. We are not perfect but we do love the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We accept people for where they are today, not what they have done in the past. We enjoy inviting people to church and telling them that they can sit with us. We know that it is so much easier to come to a new church when you already have friends. It is encouraging and humbling to see so many people seeking for the truth today. I am amazed at the faith of those that take that leap of faith and accept the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is so important that we wear one hat. You cannot be a true follower of Christ if you change hats all the time. I am a Mormon first, who happens to be a Sign professional, not the other way around.
