Hi I'm Debbie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five children with thirteen grand-children and one husband. My family, whom I love love love, has been and continues to be an outstanding adventure! I like the outdoors; hiking and rafting in the Northwest, and especially playing tennis in the Southwest, where we play year 'round.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents built a house in a new suburban neighborhood where most of our neighbors were Mormon. I quickly developed a best friend relationship with a little girl across the street. We were five years old when she informed me that Heavenly Father had created my grass, the dirt and the mountains by our house. For the next fifteen years, I was fellowshipped and loved into the Church by wonderful church programs and examples of good friends. My conversion took a long time. The Book of Mormon, which I believe to be another testament of Jesus Christ, clearly defined gospel concepts for me. When I met my future husband, I realized my own testimony of eternal companionship and family. I know I can live, after my life on earth, with my family and much more is available. This is important to me.

How I live my faith

By example, hopefully. Through prayer and knowlege gained from scripture study, Sunday school lessons and service I have learned how to recognize and use the gift of the Holy Ghost. This gift is priceless. I hope I live so others who have not experienced it will desire to try.
