Hi I'm Carrie

I am a busy mom of 4 little kids, a wife, a daughter, and a sister to 12 siblings! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 4 little kids. I spend my time living life with them. My day consists of everything "kids." I love reading with my children, going places with them, and learning new things with them. I also have an amazing husband. He works so hard for our family so I can stay home with our children. He is loyal and dedicated to helping our family be successful. When I have extra time, I enjoy reading, playing games, traveling, making cards, cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. I grew up in a home with a lot of siblings. I have 7 sisters and 5 brothers! My parents are part of a small group of parents that can actually handle many children. They are just about the most patient people I know. I always say that one of the greatest things parents can give their children is siblings. I hope my children love each other like my siblings and I do. Family is such an important part of my life. I don't live close to most of them, but I am grateful for them each and everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because through being a member of this church I have come to know and love my Savior, Jesus Christ. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I can have peace in this life, knowing that he has suffered for my sins. I can find comfort when I feel sad or need help because of the Atonement. I lost a sister in a tragic car accident a few years ago and although I am extremely sad that I can't be with her now, I know I will see her again. I know this because our Savior, Jesus Christ, did rise on the third day; that he was resurrected and all of us will be resurrected one day as well. I know that life exists beyond the grave. I know that families can be eternal families in the life to come. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my daily life being an example to others. I hope I can help others come to know the Savior through my actions. I am grateful that in our church we get the opportunity to serve. I have worked in the children's group, the youth group, and with the women's group. I love getting to know people and helping them learn and live the gospel of Jesus Christ.
