Hi I'm Breck

I'm a Registered Nurse. I love to discuss/study history. I love being a husband,father,brother,son,uncle & friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a husband, father of two (with one on the way), and a Nurse I stay busy. I just completed my BSN and am excited to continue to further my education in Nurse Practitioner school. As a Nurse I see people sometimes at their worst, but it is my faith in Jesus Christ that helps me to understand the purpose of this life. When life presents trials it is my faith that helps me through, by learning and counting my blessings. As a father I am grateful to see the miracles of God's creations in the lives of my children. As a husband I feel the deep eternal love and care that one can have for another. In my free time I enjoy studying history, particularly military and aviation history.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I am a Mormon is not based upon one momentous event, but rather a accumulation of small events where I learned and felt truths. As I began to recognize these truths and live according to them I began to feel myself drawing closer to Jesus Christ. As my faith continues to grow in Jesus Christ I am beginning to understand a little better the plan that our Heavenly Father has for me and his other children. I am grateful for the truths that are found in the scriptures and the words of living Prophets. As I have studied and prayed about the principles taught by the scriptures and Prophets I have come to know that they are true and try everyday to live according to those truths. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is his true church. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Thomas S. Monson is a true and living Prophet.

How I live my faith

I feel that I live my faith through the daily choices that I make to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. The knowledge that I have about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the plan of our Heavenly Father gives me hope and puts a smile on my face. Those that know me see that smile and know why as I am not to shy in telling them why. I enjoy participating in my ward as a Home Teacher and youth adviser. It is through these callings that my faith is strengthened and I hope the youth are strengthened in their testimonies of Christ through hearing my testimony.
