Hi I'm Ann

I was born in Germany. I am a triathlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel. I have been to Africa and climbed Kilimanjaro. I have also been to Europe 4 times. I love doing triathlons and running races. I live across the street from a state park where I run, bike and swim. I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 4 sisters and 1 brother, 2 of my sisters and brother live in the same city as I do. I have 13 nieces and nephews, nine of them live in the same city as I do. I love being an Aunt and enjoy being called Aunt Ann.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in Utah and my parents and grandparents are mormons. I served a mission for my church and while I was serving I gained a love and knowledge of my Savior and his gospel. This has stayed with me and grew since my mission. I know that God watches out for us and has a great plan for us we just need to be open to his will for his. Have a personal relationship with him through prayer is a wonderful thing in my life. I enjoy the opportunity to learn and grow by serving in different callings in the church such as teaching the youth and children.

How I live my faith

Currently at church I asked to visit with sisters at church once a month and help them with things they might need. This has been a wonderful way to get to know people that I normally would not have gotten to know. The people I visit end up helping me. I also am on a comittee that plans every other month service projects for the women of the church in our area to do. This is a great way to reach out to the community. I help out in the nursery to teach the 18 month to 3 year old children every sunday. I also volunteer at the local temple. I enjoy the opportunity to visit the house of the Lord and feel the peace that is there.
