Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Sparks, NV. I'm studying Civil Engineering. I love riding my motorcycle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love building things with my hands. Ever since I was a little kid with my first LEGO set I have enjoyed building and creating. As I got older I worked for my grandparents in a small engine shop and took welding classes all four years of high school. After graduation I worked for a local glass company installing windows for residential and commercial buildings. I thought for sure that I'd go into some sort of construction. When I turned 19 I served a mission for the church in San Antonio, Texas speaking Spanish. I fell in love with the culture and the people of South Texas. I also discovered my potential. Returning from my mission I plan on continue discovering my potential. I love meeting new people and play sports with my friends. I'm going to college now studying to become a Civil Engineer and taking Spanish classes as well. I'm also looking forward to being a husband and father someday. I love my family and can't wait to start my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents would would take my sisters and I to church every Sunday and was always involved in the youth programs but during my high school career I felt I was just going through the motions. Doing what I was told to do but not understanding why or what the purpose was. As I got closer to graduation I had to figure out what to do next. Pretty much what it was I wanted out of my life. I desperately wanted to know if the things that I had been taught my entire life were true. My search took a long time. I graduated and went to work for a glass company. One day while I was at work thinking about the scriptures that I had studied and the experiences of my life I felt an understanding come upon me. It was like I was in a dark room and someone turned the light on. I knew that the church was true and that it was and has been the answer to my happiness. I made changes to life. Most were hard and difficult changes. I'm far from perfect now and I still look to Christ and His church for answer/understanding and happiness. I am still learning about Christ and try to follow Him daily. I love Him for this change He has brought into my life.

How I live my faith

"If ye love Me feed My sheep." I try and live my daily life as Christ would. I fall way way short of the Christ's standard. I do try. I try to leave each person I interact with "better" than how i found them. I try to make everyone happier.
