Hi I'm Lindsey

I grew up in North Dakota and Minnesota. I am a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated with a bachelors in Elementary Education and have been teaching for five years. I am married and have two children. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time creating memories with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church in 2003, two weeks after graduating high school. I had been attending church, youth and other activities for about two years. I was the only one in my family investigating the church and was nervous to join on my own. During a conversation with the missionaries serving in my ward at the time, I felt very strongly that this is where I was supposed to be and what I was supposed to be doing. So I joined the church a week or two after that. I know that I made the right choice and have been greatly blessed because of that decision. I am now married and have family that I am sealed to and have the opportunity to spend the rest of eternity with. I know this is the true church, that Christ is our Savior and He wants nothing more than for us to follow Him and be happy.

How I live my faith

I am currently one of three leaders in our women's organization. I help plan activities and serve those in need. Every month I visit with women in the church that have become great friends of mine. I love being able to visit these women, create strong friendships, and to have others to relate with.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is a women's organization where women can further build their faith and testimony of the Savior. The women are able to build each other up and learn from one another's many talents. There is an hour during the regular Sunday church block to gather together and have a spiritual lesson. There are also regular activities outside of the Sunday church schedule that vary from strengthening marriages and families to food storage to serving within the local community. Show more Show less
