Hi I'm Robert

I grew up in Arizona. I love riding dirtbikes and relaxing on the beach. I am an orthodontist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I came from a large family with 9 kids. I speak Japanese, and lived in Japan for 2 years. I married my wife the day after graduating dental school. I now am an orthodontist. We have 5 children; 4 boys and 1 girl. We play outdoors alot, boating, dirtbike riding, camping, and sports. My 8 and 7 year old boys are wakeboarding now. We play at the beach in California often. I am trying to ready more and learn more about history. I enjoy watching political shows.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church, but like everyone at some point, I needed to know if it was true that Christ visited the people living on the American continent after his resurrection - the crowning story of the Book of Mormon. I read, studied, thought, and prayed to know. On numerous occasions, the Holy Ghost has made me know it is indeed true. The Plan of Salvation that teaches the purposes of this life, where we came from before we came to the Earth, and what things will occur after this life is finished, and who we will live with and where are all important doctrines to me. I don't have all the answers, but for things that are most important, there is no confusion.

How I live my faith

Being Mormon is more than a religion - it is a way of life. I live it everyday. At work, at home, in the neighborhood. At Church, everyone has something they are called to do -- there are no paid positions. I teach a class for adults called Gospel Doctrine that uses the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other scriptures to teach various aspects of the Doctrines of Jesus. I enjoy this alot. It requires much preparation during the week.
