Hi I'm Peter

I grew up in Australia reared on a dairy farm and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a christian first of all I have a fantastic wife whom I adore we have been married for 15 years . We live in a country town and love the country life our family is not quiet as lucky as us and live in the city.I spent a lot of my early life working as a plant operator with heavy earthmoving machines, constructing roads airports and a variety of jobs around the country. I was put on a pension at a relative young age and have been there since this was owing to medical problems and the doctors thought it was too dangerous for me to continue working.

Why I am a Mormon

I spent many years wandering around seeking a Church that would suit me I tried some other Churches but did not find them suitable for my needs. Then one hot spring morning I saw some girls walking in the heat something inspired me to offer them a cool drink of water, the girls accepted my offer and told me they was sister missionaries I imediatly asked them for the message they had to deliver to me and I was very impressed. A few weeks later when I first walked into an Mormon Church I felt at home and I started to realy like it Soon after that I was baptized into the Church and I have loved going to it ever since, that is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

We pray as a family twice daily. We study our scriptures daily, go to Church every Sunday I am an assistant to our High priest group leader so that keeps me doing lots of interesting things within my priesthood Quorum I also try to lead a life the Jesus Christ would aprove off. Once a month I go out with my companion and visit some families that are asigned to us this we call hometeaching its like we are looking after each other and care for others like we would like to be cared for ourselves
