Hi I'm Kira

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with my parents owning a dance studio. I spent all my time after school dancing or playing with the others studio kids. Then, I went to a private performing arts high school. I studied musical theater. So, I love to dance and act. I love to watch movies and TV, see plays and musicals, read books, going to concerts, attending fairs and festivals, and going dancing. Cheesy photography is one of my hobbies. I also enjoy cross stitching and quelling. I'm just your typical city girl.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church. However, I have made my choice personally to contine to practice this religion. There was a time in my life when everything was falling apart. My world had shattered. My faith is what helped through my struggles. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that the knowledge I gain by practicing my religion brings me peace, comfort, guidance, direction and shows me the love of my God and my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a member of a small singles congregation I have a lot of opportunities to serve. Our congregation has a lot of activities to participate in. I organize our Monday night get togethers. We have a lesson, activity and treat provided by volunteers. I also serve in our women's organization. I help organize our Sunday teachers. I enjoy the chance to teach as well. I find teaching the women in our congregation rewarding. We recently had a day of service. We volunteered at Northwest Harvest to repackage food for those in need. I love the time we spend helping those in need.
