Hi I'm Jeff

I've been married 28 years, I have two children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have two children. I recently graduated from college and graduate school. The current economy is hindering my ability to get a job. I am homeless but not hopeless. I love to ride my bicycle and be outdoors. I ride 25 miles a day and try to do that 4 to 5 times a week. I am presently keeping busy by working on my brothers addition to his house, and searching and applying for jobs. I have been through many difficult things in my life and I have learned that the most important things are being nice to people and choosing the right. My extended family is supportive of me and in return I do what I can for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love to know the truth about life. I have read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and I know that they are true. I believe prayer is the foundation of a good life and it also comforts my soul. I believe that I am on this earth for a reason. I know that my Heavenly father has a plan and I am a part of it. I know that I will continue after this life and that I can be with my Father in Heaven. I believe that obedience to God's is a key ingredient for a happy life. I also know that I am on this earth to have joy and I am able to achieve that by living the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I go to church on Sundays to worship and mingle with other members. I have been asked to assist the members of a small branch over 40 miles from where I live. I serve in callings and teach Sunday School or give talks in worship service when needed. I pray every day and I refrain from cussing and using the Lord's name in vain (even if I smash my finger in the car door). I am kind to others and never "give someone a piece of my mind" I am kind and patient to children and I love to watch teenagers grow up with values. I read the scriptures and try to treat others the way I think Jesus would treat them. I am not perfect, but I work at being the best I can be choose the right.
