Hi I'm Alan Avila

I was born in Mexico DF and I know the church since childhood. Now I'm a Mormon missionary in Chiapas.

About Me

I'm good at listening, my hobby is origami, using the computer to listen to music, and learn something different and new every time I like to cook all kinds of desserts and Mexican food, I like to dance and listen to others as they are always learn something new.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew the church since childhood and lived with the testimony of my parents, but when you grow up and learn more about the world and different religions, began to doubt whether the church and what I learned as a child was true and as we are all asked to read the Book of Mormon to see if the church is true, I began to read and pray about whether it is true, but there was no immediate response nor as intense but slowly as I read and meditated on it, felt in my heart that the book is true, I'm still reading it and I can say with certainty that it is true, which is holy writ and is proof of the need for a restoration.

How I live my faith

The manner in which I have participated in the church is to help members learn about their ancestors and how to make a family tree, I had another assignment is to help members to know about their records within the church, for example, the date they were baptized. Now I am a missionary for two years.
