Hi I'm Eileen

I am a wife and mother and I have been a professional educator for more than 25 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. One of the greatest joys in my life are my eight darling grandchildren. I enjoy shopping for school clothes and girl things with my grand daughters, exploring with grandsons and just listening to each of them talk to me about their lives. My husband and I love to travel together even if we're just going for a very long ride in the car. My other hobbies are cooking and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings joy to my life and gives me purpose and direction. The Gospel also provided me with a pattern by which to raise my children. I've always felt that by guiding my children according to the standards set by Jesus Christ I was providing them with an ideal pattern to follow. It has been my manual for guiding my family. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and living Gospel of our Savior. And I know that true happiness comes by adhering to the teachings of the Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. At school I focus on the needs of each of my Jr. High students and strive to know as much as I can about them as indiviuals. Realizing that each student is a child of God adds a vital perspective to my work at school. As the students most in need of support emerge, I work with an incredible group of teachers to put both academic and social safety nets in place for them. The service I invest to help in students succeed is one of the ways I live my faith throuh my career.
