Hi I'm Kelly

I grew up in Tampa Florida, was one of four LDS youth in my High School. Went to UVCC in 1992, won Miss UVCC in 1992. I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six, five living and one in heaven. I love the outdoors, sports, exercise, music, piano, voice, dance. I have come to know our Savior as I have exerienced life. There were many times I have called on him in times of need or loneliness. When we lost one of our twins, even though the loss was hard knowing that the Lord does not allow us to experience anything we can't handle helped me tremendously. Others were astonished at my positive attitude but knowing why we are here, and where we can go is a great knowledge that I can't deny. My family is forever and if I do my part here on earth I will be with my daughter again and be able to raise her. I love the peace I feel knowing that the Savior loves me and reminds of who I stand for everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because my family joined when I was seven. I was baptized at 8 and so excited. I remember life before my family became members and our family grew closer as the years progressed in the church. I love knowing why I am here, my purpose in life and where I am going. If we did not have a purpose in this life why even be here? I am grateful for modern day revelation to help us continue our path toward perfection. I felt our saviors love the day I was baptised and continue to feel it as I seek it. Having the Holy Ghost as a constant companion as I am faithful is a great comfort to me. As I have gone away to college and gotten married being able to communicate to my Father in Heaven has created peace and spiritual growth. Has made decision making alot simplier. Knowing you are examples of Christ makes it easy to choose the right everyday.

How I live my faith

Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is not a one day a week church. I live my religion everyday. We pray everyday as a family, hold family night, have family councils, study scripture together. I serve with the children ages 3-11. I play the piano for music time, also I work with the young women ages 12-18 during the summer as girls camp director. Helping the young people to accept them as they are and to show them they are children of God is a great responsiblity. It is awesome to see them grow and learn and experience joy in the Savior's love for them. I also participate in our choir in which we sing around our community. It has been a wonderful experience to help others feel of our Saviors love through music. I have been blessed with piano skills and vocal skills and love to use them to help others feel of the Savior through music.
