Hi I'm Dave

I'm a Mormon. I am a born and bred Brummie living in exile in Walsall! I

About Me

I am married to my wonderful American wife Teri - who is like a fish out of water some days! I work with our local Church youth group and get deal of joy out of that. I work for a major vehicle assistance company, enjoy football, cricket, golf, going to the cinema and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I met missionaries from the Church 20 years ago and they shared the Book of Mormon with me and it changed my life, I felt I was on a dangerous path during my youth and my conversion helped steer me back onto a better path. I have learnt as I have gone on that I am responsible for my actions and that I can repent and learn only through the grace of Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Being a Mormon means many things to me, most importantly it means having Jesus at the centre of your life and continuing revelation guiding my life.

How I live my faith

I try serve others wherever possible, I try to reign in my selfishness and look for ways in which I can serve. I am committed to my family, and look forward to my time with them. Most importantly I feel the hand of God in my life giving me direction, love and meaning and that helps and guides my understanding of how I should live my life.
