Hi I'm Ron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a professional photographer. I am a father of 4 children. Our children are all grown up now. My wife and I are in the "empty nesters" stage of life. We are the proud grandparents of 7 grandchildren. I must admit that grandchildren are ever bit as neat as everyone tells you "theirs" are. We find ourselves charishing whatever time we have with them. The other day after having two of our grandsons (age 1 and 3) over to visit, I said to my wife, "do you find yourself marveling with just how very precious these little children are?" She said, "yes, of course". I responded, "I don't remember feeling that way when we were young parents and our children were little. If I felt this way, I have forgotten and just don't remember". Anyway, being a grandparent to these sweet little children is truly a special experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ has been the center of our home, marriage and life. I would hate to think what it may have been like to have raised our children without the stability and foundation of the Gospel in our life. It has made all the difference in the world to the success we experienced in raising our children. It established in our family, and our children's life, a solid foundation of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the "plan of happiness". We will be eternally grateful for wonderful influence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our family.

How I live my faith

My active participation in the Church is very important to me. I consider it a privilege to serve wherever I am called to serve. Presently, I serve in a priesthood leadership position. With this calling, I have been given the responsiblity to preside over and direct a particular geographical unit of the Church. My responsibilities include teaching and training other members of the Church who have also been called to leadership positions in our geographical area. My responsibilities also include important efforts to strengthen and uplift individual members and families after the example of the Savior.
