Hi I'm Teanna

I'm a dancer. I'm a longboarder. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Teanna. I was raised in a small town called Show Low. With living in a small town I got to be very close with my family. We did a lot of family activities like camping, vacations, family dinners and get togethers. I absolutely love my family! I enjoyed growing up in a small town. I was very active in school and community activities and my parents were involved in a lot of it as well. I am currently going to college and taking institute here in the city. My major is Nursing. I want to become a Nurse Practitioner. I love learning and going to school! The human body fascinates me! I am also a dancer. I have been dancing since I was a little girl. I've done just about every style of dance there is to try and I absolutely love it all! I plan on getting a degree in dance as well. I also enjoy playing the guitar. I played the saxophone growing up and I'm currently learning how to play piano. Music is a big influence in my life. I enjoy sports as well! Soccer, rugby, football, basketball, volleyball, but I will say basketball is one of my favorite sports! I've also picked up long boarding recently. It's a blast! Anything to get me moving I usually have fun with!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My mom was a member all of her life, but my dad is a convert. My dad joined the church after being married to my mom for a few years. I like most others have had that moment where I needed to decide for myself if this is the true gospel and if this is something that I want to stick with. It wasn't the way I expected my testimony to really happen, but it happened when I moved away for college. I was at a point where I didn't have a strong testimony and I didn't care much about going to church. After a few months it got to the point where I didn't know where my ward met and I worked most Sundays. That made it extremely rough for me. My life didn't have that happiness in it during that time. Nothing seemed right. I ended up breaking down and crying to my mom over the phone about how sad I was and how all I wanted to be able to do is go to church and take the sacrament. After a couple weeks of figuring out where my ward met and what time, I got to go. As soon as I was there it was like a weight was lifted. I felt that happiness again. I felt good and at peace. Living the gospel helps keep that happiness and peace in my life. I've tried going to other churches and not living my life in accordance with the gospel and it doesn't bring happiness. This is where I belong. This is the true church of Jesus Christ. I love this gospel with all my heart! I am so grateful to be apart of His work. To get to share this happiness with others. I have a testimony of missionary work. Because of missionaries, my family was able to be sealed together for time and all eternity and for that I am eternally thankful! I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet today. He leads and guides us in these latter days. I know the Book of Mormon is true. It has helped me with the message it contains and the spirit it brings into my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a fulltime missionary for the church! It's been the best time I've had so far! It is a lot of hard work, but there is nothing better than serving the Lord! I'm so grateful to be here and to be apart of this work.
