Hi I'm Benjamin

I am from Utah. I am an Eagle Scout. I love hiking and backpacking. I love being with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. I had a fascination with taking things apart, seeing how they worked, and putting them back together. My parents would always hide batteries and small electronics from me, because if they didn't it would be taken apart, and eventually put back together, the wrong way. My excitement for building and taking things apart followed me throughout my life. I took apart my first computer when I was thirteen, and things followed me from there. I was selected as a student tech support for my high school and I would help with basic computer maintenance. I still have a passion for building computers, and better yet, tearing them apart. I have completed an associate’s degree of science, and I am planning on going as far as I can in the general direction of computers.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. I went through my life always wondering if what I was learning was true or if it was not. I remember when I was baptized that I felt a remarkable feeling come over me. I don't remember much more than the feeling. As I grew a little older, I tried to do things my way, or exactly the opposite of what I was taught. I finally went away from home to go to college. While I was there, I didn't have anyone to tell me to go to church, or to read my scriptures. I wanted to take a break, and this was the "perfect time." Everything in my immediate life went south, and I had the hardest time doing anything. I started reading my Book of Mormon again, and I felt a calm peace overcome me. I knew at that moment, that I needed to come back, and I did. Even though, I have slipped, and made my own share of mistakes, I know that God loves me anyways. I know that there is a truth, and that is God, and I know that Jesus Christ has felt my pains and sorrows. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I know that anyone can know for themselves, if they are willing to sincerely read the book, and pray about it. I know, because I did it, and I am still here.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying every day, and reading my scriptures as well. I also help the missionary work in the cities that i live in. I love going to church and learning how i can be a better person, and i also love seeing the change that comes into the lives of people that are sincerely seeking to have a better life.
