Hi I'm Tony

I'm an Army Veteran, an Industrial Engineer, a loving husband, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Washington State with my loving wife and our rambunctious puppy. I attended the University of Washington where I earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a B.S. in Technical Communication. I've had a lifelong fascination with aviation, which has led to my 10 years of service in the Army reserves as a Crew Chief and Helicopter Mechanic and my civilian career as an Engineer working in Flight Test and Development. I enjoy various outdoor activities including: hiking, fishing, camping, snowboarding, boating, gardening, and anything that I can spend time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

My family joined the church when I was four years old. My mother was raised Jewish and then joined the Salvation Army. My Father was raised Catholic and grew up in a Catholic Monastery training to become a priest. Through both of their experiences they were both well versed in the scriptures and had separately and jointly performed great service all over the world serving on many religious missions. Through their diverse knowledge and example I was raised with an understanding of my Savior's love for me and for our family and the importance of serving others. It was these fundamental principles about the family and serving each-other that first attracted our family to the church. From my parents great example I was able to develop my own understanding and testimony of the gospel of the Church and have grown to love the opportunities that I've been given to serve in various capacities. I have felt the hand of God present in my life to watch over and strengthen me in my times of need. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know my Redeemer lives and He has set down the ultimate example of service when He laid down his life for each of us individually. I know that it is our sacred duty to keep the commandments, serve others, and to continually have the desire to do good.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints through my service and example. Having a military background I am no stranger to the word service and it is no different when serving God, it is only for a greater purpose. I have had the opportunity to serve my family, neighbors, community, country, and God through my callings in the Church. I currently serve as a local Missionary and support the full time missionary in our local area seeking out those who are in need of the support and love of our savior.
