Hi I'm Michael V

I love talking to people, enjoy learning from others, an entrepreneur, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California, and will always be loyal to my state. I have worked many hours out it farms, and played many hours out on the beach. I live by work hard and play hard. To be straight up I enjoy the playing hard the most. In high school I played Volleyball, Water Polo, and I wrestled. I enjoyed it but I must admit I definitely enjoyed graduating a whole lot more. After high school I was blessed with opportunities to work in many different career venues that I was interested in. At a young age my parents taught me the value of hardwork, respect, and the beneifit of effective communication. Their examples in my life have definitely made me who I am today, and will always be indebted to them. Yes, we don't always get along, but who does? I know however that they want me to be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in California I would frequently be asked this question, and the best, most simple answer that I have been able to come up with is that God told me that it was true. Wait wait wait, I know it sounds kinda crazy, but that's the simple answer. I have read in the Book of Mormon, I have prayed about it, and in my heart and mind He has told me that it is true. Yeah, it's true, I was born and raised in the church, but I still have my choices. I went to a private Christian that was full of different religions, however I can't deny what I have felt. I'm 21 years old and sometimes I think that I am cooler than I really am. I go through similiar struggles that you do. I just know that there is a plan for me. I take hope in that.

How I live my faith

I try my best to simply help those who are in need. If you are having a bad day you know that I will try to cheer you up because that is what I would want others to do for me. We live in a world where people care only about themselves, they feel that they are #1. They look out for themselves 1st without looking back who they might have run over. I think of the example of Jesus Christ and that he IS #1, in the sense that he doesn't need us. He is all powerful and knowing, and yet he gave US his life, he suffered for each and everyone of us. He cared for everyone else, not himself. He served others before himself and that is how I strive to live my faith, by trying to walk in his foot steps of my Savior the best that I can.
