Hi I'm Kay Lybbert

I was Cardston, Alberta Canada, married at 16, now almost 60 years to the same beautiful girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, father of 7 children, 34 grandchildren, and 32 (and counting) great-grandchildren. Been active in the church all my life. My wife and I served a two year mission in Nauvoo, Illinois. I have been a farmer, rancher, logger, Jack of all trades and master of none. I was born in the generation when you fix it up, use it up, or do without. I love all of God's creatures but my greatest love of all is horses (and my family of course).

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong belief in Jesus Christ. I know His church has been restored in its fulness through the Prophet Joseph Smith. My testimony has been strengthened through service. I have been richly blessed over and over as I have willingly serve others. I love the Book of Mormon because it answers so many questions and is a perfect companion to the Bible which I also love.

How I live my faith

As I said earlier, I love to serve and have served in the church all of my life. Sometimes in leadership. I was recently released as Bishop of our Ward which is similar to being a pastor of a congregation...but not quite the same. I particularly enjoyed the calling of Ward Mission Leader for 6 years. My wife and I loved our mission to Nauvoo, Illinois. I love to serve and have willingly throughout my adulthood.
