Hi I'm Peggy

I love flowers and pickleball and chocolate. Most of all, I love my husband and daughter. And I love being a Mormon.

About Me

My interests include gardening, reading, playing pickleball (a Northwest sport), chocolate, and playing Nertz! Mostly----I love my family!!

Why I am a Mormon

Our family was in crisis when I was a youth. My Mom and sisters and I moved to Salt Lake City, where I was introduced to the Church. When I attended Church I felt a peace I had never felt before. I loved the doctrines, the focus on families and the amazing youth and leaders that went the extra mile to reach out to me. After one year of begging my Mom to allow me to talk to the missionaries, she finally relented. I called the missionaries and said, "I'd like to be baptized. Can you help me with that?" I will forever be grateful for the incredible examples of those around me---dear friends, their families, and others in the ward---who taught me about the gospel, encouraged me to live it, and served me with Christlike love. Now, many years later, I still love the doctrine, the family centered focus and all the amazing examples that surround me. I can also add to that my testimony that I know my Heavenly Father loves me and is aware of me. He blesses me with tender mercies on a daily basis. I know my Savior loves me, and set a perfect example for me. Because of His desire to be obedient to our Father and His love for each of us---He atoned for us. I am grateful for the Gift of the Holy Ghost to comfort, guide and teach me.

How I live my faith

I am blessed with the opportunity to teach the youth every morning before they attend our local high schools. This year we are studying the Old Testament. These youth are valiant, and strong. They desire to learn more and apply it in their lives. They are a great example to me!!! I am blessed to have amazing people in my life who inspire me to live my faith! My husband and daughter are constant examples to me! I love reading the scriptures every day! They provide for me the spiritual nourishment I need. I am most grateful for prayer---the communication that I have with my Heavenly Father.
