Hi I'm David

I am dedicated to my dreams for life, I am a wrestler, I can solve the Rubik cube, I love God and Jesus Christ and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love my life. Life has so much to offer if we utilize our talents. I can solve the rubiks cube in 36 seconds. I solve it whenever I am stressed. It helps me think as I subconsciously move the edges into the correct places. I can also juggle which is pretty cool. It is like a natural movement that I can accomplish. My favorite sport is wrestling and I also enjoy playing basketball. I love teaching the gospel and I share it with whoever I can. I am currently a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am serving in the Mexico Mexico City North Mission. I am so excited for all the great things that have and will come as I serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been LDS my whole life. My parents were mormon when I was born so I went to church with them and my 2 brothers which became 3 brothers when I was 6. At the age of 8, children can get baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When I became 8 years old my parents taught me that in order to follow the commandments of God I need to be baptized. However, to protect the sacred law of Agency (the right to choose for myself), m parents still gave me the option of getting baptized or I could make the choice of not getting baptized and to not be a member of the church. Even as I was 8 I knew that the right choice was to get baptized and continue to follow the commandments of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so I made the decision to enter in the waters of baptism and made a covenant (a two-way promise) with my God to follow his commandments and then in return I could have his spirit to be with me called the Holy Ghost. Since then the reason why I decided to stay LDS instead of leaving the church was because of the example my parents gave me. I saw that when we live righteously then we are blessed but when we sin and disobey our father in heaven we have to vend for ourselves until we repent and follow him again. I can feel the Savior's love for me and for my family. I can feel the love God has for his children. I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has testified to me that this church is true and I can't just go about my life knowing it is true. I need to live it, I need to share it and by doing so I fell happier.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it with others. I am on a mission for the next two years because I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I have been helped through his atonement and so I have that desire to share it with others. The lord will bless me for my service but the greatest moment I am looking forward to have is to see the change in Families and in Individuals as they come to Jesus Christ. I want to see their smiles as they know within their minds and hearts that they are doing what the lord would have them do. I live my faith by following his commandments. Believing on Jesus Christ alone is not enough. I need to show him that I follow him by aligning my will with his. Always putting God's will above my own.
