Hi I'm Geoff

I'm an adventurer. I'm a husband and father. I'm a Physician's Assistant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I think life is meant to take us in many directions: climbing up to the peak of a mountain or down it on skis; up in a plane or down after jumping out sky diving; up on the surf of a wave or down into the ocean scuba diving; and sometimes just straight ahead swimming, biking and running. Best of all, I love the whirlwind of a fun-loving wife and two beautiful little girls.

Why I am a Mormon

Regardless of the relative direction I may be going at any given time, I take great comfort and draw great strength from the knowledge that my ultimate goal is to return to live with my Father in Heaven. I rely on the guidance of the Holy Ghost when making major (and minor) life decisions. I know this “compass” is promised to those who come to Heavenly Father in faith and try to pattern their lives after the Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my life in a way that moves me along the path to my ultimate goal, which is to be together with my family forever. -As I interact with patients and co-workers as a Physician's Assistant, I try to be honest and kind. -I visit a few families from our congregation each month, and do my best to offer encouragement to them in their own personal journeys. -I am a counselor to the Bishop of our congregation, which means I am involved with decisions about what roles others fill, such as teachers, youth leaders, etc. (There is no paid clergy. All of the work is done on a volunteer basis!) In my most fulfilling role as counselor, I get to be an advisor and friend to the youth ages 12-18. I love that there are so many opportunities to serve! -Most importantly I strive to be a good husband and father.
