Hi I'm Pete

I like to take walks with my family. I like to jog for exercise. I like to run my small company. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful family. My wife and I have five boys and one daughter. My oldest is a freshman in college and my youngest is in first grade. I love soccer/football. I own a small company which specializes in installation, renovation and sales of fixed seating. I have been to many places in the US and abroad to work. Travel can be very exciting- One month in Samoa and the next in South Africa. My favorite installation thus far has to be the seats at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah- home to Real Salt Lake (our professional soccer team)

Why I am a Mormon

The reason that I am a Mormon changes with age. One of the most precious gifts that my Father in Heaven gave me in this life is the right and privilege to choose what I will do and how I will act. I was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was just eight years old. The reason I made that choice then was because I knew it to be the right thing to do. When I was 20, I found myself thousands of miles from home teaching people about Jesus Christ in a language that is not even taught in most (if any) colleges in the US. I saw the change that a firm faith in our Savior Jesus Christ can bring into someone's life. Indeed, I traveled to a third world country to teach myself how much my Father in heaven truly loves me.

How I live my faith

I serve in my ward in a couple of ways. I am a leader in the men's organization- which has as one of its primary goals 'to help each man become more like our Savior'. I also visit to families in our ward each month with my son. One of the things that I try to teach my children, and that I must always remind myself, is that no one is perfect. No one since Christ walked the Earth has been able to say that. We are all striving to become perfect. If we try to change everything all at once- we will probably fail. All we need to do is work on one thing, and be a little better. Over time this will help us reach our end goal.
