Hi I'm Lynndsey

I live in Arizona. I married my high school best friend and we have 4 kids. I'm a piano teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Lynndsey and I live in Arizona. I have 4 kids under the age of 7. I married my best friend from high school and we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary soon. I teach piano out of my home and I love it. I love seeing my student's progress and seeing the sense of accomplishment in their eyes. I especially love teaching my own kids piano. It's very rewarding. I also am a pretty avid coupon cutter. I started cutting coupons about 1 1/2 years ago and I think that even if we suddenly become wealthy, I can never again go back to paying $5 for a box of cereal! I just can't! I love a good deal- it's my weakness. I also love spending time with my family. I graduated college at Utah State University, my fourth undergrad college, in Speech Communication. I love learning and expanding my education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon and I was taught at a very young age how to recognize the Spirit. I love that within the LDS religion, certain basic principles are introduced to small children and continue to be "re-introduced" throughout one's life. I also love that a big part of membership within the church is relying on one's faith. It's very comforting to know that not only are you not alone, but our Heavenly Father has a divine specific plan for each of us. So, if something in your life is not going exactly as you planned or had hoped for, that's okay- it is a trial designed to make you a stronger person. It is for us to learn patience and have faith that everything happens for a reason and that our omnipotent Heavenly Father has our best interest always in mind.

How I live my faith

I just moved into a new ward (and area) and I have not been given any particular assignment yet, but before we moved I worked with the children and would teach them lessons based on church principles and basically looked out for their well-being. I love working with kids!! It's so rewarding and they are so forgiving! They are truly the best example of Christ-like love. I have also worked with the youth (ages 12-18) and really felt connected with them. I feel that this role was especially important since this is such a critical time in one's life. I wanted them to understand that they do matter and that they are important an loved.
