Hi I'm McKenzie

I am happily married to my Prince Charming for Eternity. I am a violinist, friend, and nursing school student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona and am the second of four children. I was involved in just about every extra-curricular activity in junior high and high school such as student council, cheerleading, track and field, orchestra and even the club that ate pancakes. I moved away to BYU for two years, transferred to a nursing school, met my husband, and then did what any girl would do for her Prince Charming... I packed up my apartment and moved back to Arizona to find a wedding dress and get married. I then waited an entire year to get back into another nursing school in order to finish my degree. I enjoy spending time with my husband, hiking and fishing with my dad, shopping with my mom, talking with my brother and watching "A Cinderella Story" with my sisters. Life is wonderful.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the Lord's true and only church on Earth today. Each morning, I wake up and look out my window only to find the sunlight coming over the distant desert mountains, birds singing and a fresh scent in the air. I cannot understand how these things could simply happen by chance. Rather, I know that they are blessings from Heavenly Father who loves each of His children so much, that He gives us another day to do a little better. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ came to this earth, died for my sins, lives today, and will come again. If someone were to ask me when I gained my testimony of this Gospel, I could not give a specific moment. Instead, I have gradually gained my testimony through the peace, joy, and Spirit I feel in simple ways each day. Reading the Scriptures has also helped to strengthen my testimony. I am a Daughter of God and I know that my Redeemer lives!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to treat others as Christ would treat them. I set standards and try my hardest to hold true to them. I show my faith by living my faith.
