Hi I'm Wirihana

I live in Australia. I have a beautiful wife and one beautiful daughter. I am a Kiwi and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Married and we have one child. I love to surf and play guitar. I served a mission for the church in Japan Tokyo and meet my wife's brother on my mission, we served together. I attended BYU Hawaii and worked at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I grew up in New Zealand and love being a Kiwi.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to have been born into the church. As a young child I grew up learning about Christ and my faith grew with me. I have read the Book of Mormon and ask my Heavenly Father if it is true. I have received a spiritual confirmation that the Book Of Mormon is a true Testament as with the Bible, thus the account of Joseph Smith is also true and in turn all the principles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is also true. I love nature, especially the surf, it too has been a witness to me of a God. As I have followed the church I have been blessed both physically and spiritually which has also been a strength to me and a witness that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday school in our local ward with my wife. We prepare fun and spiritual lesson for our kids that we teach and we prepare and teach together. I also look after two families in our ward and give service when I can, I have grown very fond of these families as with all the members in our ward.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith but we are grateful for the work he has done in Restoring the Church to the earth, the same church that existed when Christ was on earth. I believe that Joseph Smith was a Prophet called by God. I believe he saw God and Jesus Christ in a Vision and restored the Gospel that we call The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
