Hi I'm Joshua

I'm from Seattle, Washington. I love hockey and road cycling. I'm a Physical Therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Seattle, WA area. I served a two year mission to Nashville, TN and parts of KY from 1997-1999. I went to BYU-Idaho, BYU, where I studied sports medicine, and I finished my schooling at the U of Utah (Physical Therapy). I love Ice hockey (Go Redwings!) and Road cycling. I play chess, read books, and am trying my best to be a good husband, and raise a family. I love ice cream, pizza, and gyros.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), but that isn't why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I learned that this is the Lords true church. I've felt a personal witness where the Lord's spirit made it very clear to me where that this is His church, and it is where I needed to be. This church is where God's truth and power reside. I love the Lord and his people. I know this church is led by God's living prophet. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I know that the Book of Mormon is scripture given to us, in the last days, by God, through his servants. The gospel makes it possible for families to be together forever, and to return to live with God, and these are precious to me. There is nothing more important to me than the Gospel, and the truth contained in it, and I will never leave that truth.

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary in my local congregation. I study my scriptures and say my prayers regularly. I attend church every Sunday, and support my family in their church responsibilities. I attend the Temple when time permits.
