Hi I'm Sandy

I grew up in the Philippines, and my parents are from Mexico. I am a wife and mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 4 children. I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, and enjoying each others company. In my youth, I grew up speaking both English and Spanish. I attended an International School in the Philippines where I was able to associate with people from all over the world and many religions. We were blessed to have the opportunity to travel, and I still enjoy that today. I am grateful that I am bilingual, and that my children have also had the opportunity to learn to speak spanish. I like morning runs, waterskiing and mid day bike rides, whenever I get a chance. I also enjoy doing crafts, crocheting, quilting, and scrap-booking.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because knowing that I am a daughter of God keeps me going. Living everyday with a knowledge that God knows me and loves me makes me happy. From a young age, I have known that living the gospel of Jesus Christ would bring happiness to my life. It helps me try everyday to be a better person and seek the things that Jesus would do. When I keep the commandments and center my life around Jesus Christ and His church I feel the guidance of my Savior in my life.

How I live my faith

For me, living my faith starts at home through teaching my children how to serve one another and others around us. Christ was the greatest example of service. I enjoy volunteering my time at school and in the community. I am a Webelos Scout Leader, where I can teach 10-year-old boys about improving themselves, and serving in the community. I also serve as a member of the Board of Directors for my HOA as well as a museum.
