Hi I'm Barry Evans

I'm a Mormon. I'm a service missionary working with world wide support for family search. I work from home to help others.

About Me

I have retired from business and am now serving a service mission for FamilySearch world wide support. I Work from home to help our friends and patrons use the familysearch web sites and genealogy software. It is very fulfilling to be able to help with the great work of finding families, and family histories. My hobbies are Computers, cycling, reading, and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have studied , prayed and searched for what my heart tells me is the truth. I have found peace of mind, joy, and many fulfilling relationships that are based on the principles of Christianity that Christ taught while here on the earth. By following the basic principles taught by the church, I find that my family and myself are greatly blessed.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve others through service in my local ward as a teacher. Teaching others helps me to better learn the important principles of the gosple and share them with my friends and neighbors. I also work in my local stake as the indexing director (working with individuals to index the many genealogical records in church vaults) which is another teaching position dealing with the technology of genealogical work. I also serve as a service missionary for the familysearch world wide support. We help patron to use genealogy software that is available on the world wide web. There are many leadership positions that bless our lives and the lives of others as we serve, and I have been greatly blessed.
