Hi I'm Zach

I'm from Utah.I love sports. my mom is Caucasian, my dad is African American. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I'm an athletic guy. I like skateboarding, snowboarding, sports, camping, etc. I like to be outside doing things, but when I'm not doing those things I play video games with my brother or listen to my favorite music. Something unique about me is that i had dreadlocks for thirteen years. My parents are separated, my wonderful mother raised my brother and I with support from other family members and my dad re-married to another nice lady. My father and step mother brought two of my younger siblings into this world, of whom I love very much! I'm currently serving the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints as a missionary, and have hopes to continue my education after my expected time of serving for two years. I also have hopes to play football in college. I was very passionate about football throughout my junior high and high school experiences and I have hopes to continue that passion.

Why I am a Mormon

throughout high school i didn't understand the importance of being a Mormon. Mormonism was a common theme growing up since i grew up in Utah and have been a member since i was baptized at eight years of age. Until I really tried to read and understand the book of Mormon, I didn't understand why i was a Mormon. During my senior year of high school, I started to spend more time reading in the evenings. At times, my reading of the Book of Mormon would even take my time away from studying subjects from school. I really gained a love for the book of Mormon, though it was hard to understand. I also had a desire to prepare for a mission so I knew that i heeded to read the book that i would be teaching from for two years. I started to receive blessings from reading the book. I was able to get better grades in school compared to all or the previous years, I received knowledge of how i should live my life, and I felt the spirit helping me overcome challenges that I was facing. I know that this church is true, that the book of Mormon is true, and that by reading it, I have received blessings. I also know that if you read it for yourself, you will know that it is true by the good feelings you will feel and the changes you will make in your life.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a missionary. I help other people come closer to our savior by building their faith in him, helping them Repent, be baptized, recieve the gift of the holy ghost( the oppertunity to have the holy ghost with them at all times), and continue in their faith. I love serving my church in this way because it helps me recognize how blessed I am when I see other people change their lives to live the same ghospel that I fallow, and that gospel is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Zach
(Read) in the book of Mormon on pg.529 chapter #10 versus 3-5. This is the last prophet of the book of Mormon, telling everyone to read the book, sincerely ponder in their hearts whether it's true, then ask god in the name of Jesus Christ(pray) if it is true. Then search for the good feelings that come through the holy ghost as you sit listening. answers will come best as you pray in secret, on your knees, and after you've shown gratitude through your prayers for what god has already blessed you with. If your answer still seems unclear, strive to fallow gods commandments that he may bless you to receive a stronger witness. Show more Show less
