Hi I'm Adam

I'm grew up on the borders of three cities and is now working to become an educator and I'm a Mormon. ☺

About Me

I am a student at Mesa Community College studding Mathematics. As of fall 2011 I'm reviewing the calculus sections with a hard but good teacher. I've been an active member of the MCC Math Club and have served as secretary to president. I'm also interested in Shinkendo and the German sword archery. I like to solve puzzles of all kinds, play instruments, bike, read good books, and engage in long intellectual or quite stupid conversations about anything that people like to talk about. My favorite thing to do is see the good in all people come out into the world in the forms of reason, intelligence, kindness, stern correction with understanding of the mistake and the separation of action from being. I find it fun to look weird daily and giggle when people are confused by a straight coherent answer or question, for I know they are listening and thinking for I truly like people to think, puzzle and understand what was previously misunderstood.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a kid, I misunderstood a picture of Jesus sitting in the center of older people and herd that "he was hearing them and asking them questions." Being taught to be like Jesus at a young age with that notion, I asked those older than I questions and listened to their councils. This fed, or started my search for knowledge and education. Growing up, one of the things emphasized was prayer and listening for the still small voice of the Holy Spirit. Communication with God is best by that small voice of whom you can ask questions and get answers for as a teacher he knows best how one learns so God teaches all. Prayer is important to me. My studies of life and God have kept me in this church because they all tell me that it is true. Jesus is the Christ who was with the Father from the beginning and did come down and died for our sins so long as we believe him and follow his teachings which are recorded in the Gospels.

How I live my faith

My faith or religion being defined as a way of life is the use of what I have learned to every day I live. No symbol or image, real or imaginary, is to be my faith but the actions of what Christ said to do and how to live shows how what I believe affects my life. If I am asked to do something that is good, if I can do it I do, and if not I find a way for it to be done or find some one who can get it done. I keep my word to those I've given it to, and help those that need it.
