Hi I'm Jayna

I love my family. I play the piano and am a cosmetologist. I love kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. I grew up going to sporting events. In school, I played basketball and volleyball. I love the outdoors, gardening, and plants. I love music and play the piano and organ. I am a mother of 4 kids under 5 years old and love it, although it is challenging at times. I love being with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life and I truly treasure it. I'm grateful my mother still took me to church on her own even when she was going through difficult times in her life. I love the guidance I get from going to church, reading church magazines, and listening to the prophet and his apostles. Family is so important and special to me and I want nothing more than to be with my family for eternity. In this gospel, I'm always reminded to be a better person and more like Jesus. There are so many wonderful things I've learned being a Mormon and I always want to strive to do my best, so my father in heaven can be pleased with me. I would not be the person I am today without the church and the teachings that I learn there.

How I live my faith

I work with the children in my ward and I absolutely love it. I love teaching them and they teach me so much in return. Teaching the children has given me more confidence in my life to get in front of a group and speak. I have been a shy person my whole life and have always feared getting in front of groups. Thanks to my calling, I am more comfortable speaking in front of others and bigger groups. I also love visiting teaching and being able to visit with other women in our ward. It is so important for all of us to have friends and people to lean on when we need help, advice, or someone to just talk to.
