Hi I'm Greg Stewart

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, a father of five children, and grand father of four. I enjoy all types of sports, especially college football. I love to cook, I find it to be very relaxing. Traveling and visiting places that I have never been are interesting to me. Historical sites are of particular interest to me. Professionally I work in a family owned dry cleaning business.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by good parents who were LDS and taught all their children about faith, and following Jesus Christ. Like everyone else I came to a point in my life where I had to decide if what my parents had taught me was correct or not. I made the decision to serve a two year mission for the church, and was called to serve in Montreal Canada. The principles and experiences that I gained in those two years laid the path for rest of my life. I follow the teachings of the church because it brings happiness and joy in my life. I know by the prompting of the Holy Ghost that I am following the path that God would have me to travel.

How I live my faith

Over the years I have had many opportunities to serve in the church. Presently, I serve as a stake president. This gives me that opportunity to meet with and get to know a lot of really great people who strive dilegently to follow Jesus. I am responsible to help other church leaders see that the needs of the members of the church are met through unselfish service to others. I gained a great appreciation for the goodness and kindness of people in general as I have observe them make correct choices in building faith in Christ and striving to strengthen their families as well as others.
