Hi I'm Brett

I am from Arizona. I'm a father of 5 beautiful girls. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four children. In my youth, you would find me skateboarding with good friends or hiking in the White Mountains of Arizona. I earned my Eagle Scout award and served a mission in Pennsylvania. I went to college in Arizona and graduated in business management. I love to go fishing, camping, and taking time out at a good restaurant. I love spending time with family and creating memories with them and taking time to remember the good times.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the way I felt when I prayed to God to know if, what I read in the Book of Mormon, was truly the word of God. I was always strengthened by the teachings of Christ in the Bible and when I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover for the first time, I felt my own faith, in a loving God, increase even more and I felt a greater love for other people in my life. I recognized early in my youth that happiness comes when I try to live as the Savior did, loving others & serving others. It is wonderful to know that God can speak to us today through a living prophet just as He did with prophets long ago. After hearing the story of Joseph Smith, I know that he saw God and Jesus Christ, as an answer to his prayer and was called to be a prophet. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church and through the church, we can return to live with God as a family, because He is our Father and we are His Children. The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope during challenging times, provides strength when I am at my weakest, and gives me peace when I least expect it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by spending at least one evening each week with my wife and children learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ, playing games together, or helping out a neighbor. I enjoy visiting other families and sharing with them my experiences, my favorite scripture, and my favorite treat, oatmeal cookies. I have the opportunity to organize Sunday meetings and teach the young men and young women how to make good choices and follow the Savior in their lives. I have had the privilege to teach husbands and new fathers of their responsiblities and how we can have greater happiness in their marriages and families.
