Hi I'm Kittye

I'm a college graduate. I'm a business professional. I'm a music aficionado. I'm a professional photographer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a southern girl born and raised. I'm a full-time software analyst and a part-time professional photographer. I could carry on an entire conversation in movie and song quotes. I love music, reading, baking, camping, and just spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the Mormon church after they got married, so I've always been a Mormon. But I've looked into many different religions, and I have friends from many faiths. I have loved growing up in the south where it is so common for people to believe in God and Jesus Christ. But through many experiences, I just have gained such a strong testimony that the Book of Mormon supports the Bible--it doesn't contradict it. I also know that there is a living prophet--it doesn't make sense that the Lord would leave us without guidance on this earth today. I have received so much peace and comfort through prayer, reading scriptures, and hearing the testimonies of others. Being a member of this church doesn't mean that I don't ever have questions. But it does mean that I have enough knowledge and faith to understand that this is a true religion, and it is a crucial part of my life.

How I live my faith

I attend a singles ward in a college town--so I get to be surrounded by friends my age that have the same standards that I do. It provides an amazing support system for me! I've been asked to serve in positions doing everything from taking pictures of all church activities to being the president over our women's volunteer organization. I also try to do my best to live my standards in everything I do so I can set an example for those around me.
