Hi I'm Michael E.

I grew up primarily in Vancouver, BC. I am an avid cyclist, a law student, a reader, runner, writer, and a Mormon.

About Me

I love cycling, the outdoors and seeking out new experiences. I believe life is a gift and that we're intended to enjoy its sublime joys to their fullest. I am currently a law student in the Pacific Northwest and husband to a wonderful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I believe it is the gospel of Christ restored in its doctrinal purity. I do not have every answer, but I know Christ's gospel helps me to be a better person.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday through studying and acting on Christ's teachings. I am far from perfect, but I try to embody the two great commandments: to love God and to love others.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Michael E.
For me, increasing faith in Christ is about coming to a correct understanding of who he actually was and is. This is done through study, pensiveness and prayer. Many things at many times in the world's history have been done in "Christ's name" when in actuality he would abhor the thought of such activities being perpetuated under the pretense of fulfilling his mission. Unfortunately, I believe some of that continues today. But, I believe as a person studies Christ's life and tries to embody his principles, continually serving others, they will understand who he really is, which will in turn enable them to have faith in him.
