Hi I'm Tien-Shu

I grew up in Taiwan. I love basketball and music! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Playing basketball and playing the piano are the two things I really enjoy doing. I believe life is sometimes full of challenges but if we work hard, we can have success. Growing up in Taiwan, school is a huge focus. There were times I doubt myself and wonder about my future. However, I've learned that God has a plan for me to be happier and successful. I'm now attending college in Hawaii. Life here is very exciteing and fun. I look forward to all the opportunities and challenges that lies ahead!

Why I am a Mormon

I was searching for some answers in life. When I was zyounger, I had a uncle that passed away and that made me wonder what's the purpose of life. As I grew older, I felt there must be more to life. I've searched through different thoeries and believes but when I learned about the Believes in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I found all my answers and started to have more peace and guidance in my life.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures everyday and do my best to be a good person.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not! We only worship God. As Latter-Day Saints, we believe that there was a "falling away" like Paul prophesied in 2 Thess 2:3 and there will be a "restitution of all things" (Acts 3:19-21) and a "fullness of time" (Eph 1:10) in the latter-days. I believed the church of God needs to be built upon the foundation of prophets and apostles(Eph 2:20). God worked through Joseph Smith just like he has worked through prophets in the past to let us know about his fullness of the gospel. We admire and respect the Prophet Joseph Smith but we do not worship him. Show more Show less
