Hi I'm Daniel

I love architecture, theater, and fashion photography. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the Pacific Northwest with a sketchpad in my hand. Drawing since I was little, I've been designing houses since I was 10 years old. As I grew older, I discovered other talents, such as theater and vocal performance, cooking, and fashion photography. I've been studying architecture at a university, but I've put a promising career on hold to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm serving in San Antonio, Texas, sharing not only the talents God has blessed me with, but sharing with others why I'm so happy and have been so blessed in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. I'm happy knowing that I'm a child of God and that God is a loving Father in Heaven. He's placed me in a family and he's given us a prophet, today, to lead and guide our families to Jesus Christ and back to our Heavenly Father. Like Heavenly Father called prophets like Moses and Abraham in olden days, he's called prophets in these latter days, like Joseph Smith. By the power of God, Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon works hand in hand with the Holy Bible to establish the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through Joseph Smith, Heavenly Father restored the church Jesus Christ established while He was on the Earth. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's true church. I also know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that there is a prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I know this because I know the Book of Mormon is true. The Book of Mormon is the true word of God and can help you and I come closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Because of my faith in Jesus Christ, I followed His example and was baptized with the proper priesthood authority that Heavenly Father restored through Joseph Smith. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I'm not perfect. Jesus Christ was the only perfect person who ever lived, but Christ commanded us to be perfect, even as He was. So I try to be like Him every day. I do that by going to church, giving service in my community, and right now, serving a mission, sharing with others my belief in Jesus Christ and how they can come closer to being like Jesus Christ.
