Hi I'm Megan

I'm a business woman, I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church, baptised in 2009. I am the married mother of three boys. I have a fulfilling career in the medical field. I love mountain biking, skiing, singing and playing the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a divorced family. My mom is protestant, my dad and stepmom are mormon. I always felt The Holy Spirit when I was at my Dad's house as a child, and mistook that feeling for joy. I was never baptised to either religion and started my adult life without religion at all. I met and married my husband, who also grew up as a mormon, yet became inactive as a teen and adult. Years went by, we started having children. We realized that something was missing from our lives. We started trying out different churches and nothing ever seemed to feel right. Then we decided it was time to follow our parents and try going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We had lessons from the missionaries, and I was baptised. I realized what had been missing from my life. It was then that I again found that feeling of joy that I had been missing. Having the gospel in our lives has given us peace and purpose.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each and every day to be a better person and more like Christ. I strive to be the daughter that Heavenly Father wants me to be. I love the friendships that I have and will continue to make with members of my ward family. I love the opportunities for service and fellowship that are available as a member of Christs church.
