Hi I'm Carol

I'm a Mormon. I am a 4th and 5th generation member of the church. I have lived in Mexico for many years.

About Me

I am a mother of 7 and grandmother21 with 2 more on the way. I was an elementary school teacher and now substitute. I love to quilt, sew, read, crochet and love to be with my grandchildren. I also play the viola and am teaching beginning strings in an after school program for elementary and middle school students. I have lived many years in Mexico and on the border.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church as was my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. My family joined the church during the early days of the church and they crossed the plains to Salt Lake City. The church has strengthened my famiily in each generation. I have served the Lord in every capacity of my life. I know that the Church is true, that God and Jesus lives. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that he restored the gospel in the last days. The gospel has broght me comfort through my many trials throught out my life, especially when I had three children pass away. I know that if I keep the commandments of my Heavenly Father I will be reunited with them when I pass on. I know that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I work diligently in all that is asked of me in the church. I have taught children and adults music, played and directed choirs. I have also been president of the women's orginazaion and the children's organization and have worked with the youth. I am now visiting several sisters in the church and serving them each month.
