Hi I'm Amanda

I'm a full time wife and mother of 5 beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've taught autistic kids, I had my real estate license, I got my EMT certification, I've done daycare, and housecleaning. I have found my true love of being a wife and mother and am so lucky to do that full time. I have 5 children ages 7, 6, 4, 2, and just born. I love to sew and paint. I don't mind getting my hands dirty working in the yard but I really have alot to learn about gardening because I can't keep anything alive.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church. I was baptised when I turned 8 years old but I didn't go to church regularly until I was about 12 because my father and his family are not members. I had the influence from a family that smoked and drank alcohol very regularly and I also had the influence of my mother who taught me about the word of wisdom and morals and values. I always knew right from wrong. I always knew that what the church teaches is right. I know that going to church and obeying the commandments is what brings me the most happiness. I know that raising my family is the most rewarding experience of my life. I feel Heavenly Father's love for me when I look at my amazing children and as we study the scriptures and say our prayers I feel happy, calm, and safe. As the world continues to show what evil there is out there, I am comforted by my knowledge of God's plan and the teachings of His gospel. I'm a Mormon because I know the gospel is true and as it effects every aspect of my life, I am fulfilled and happy.

How I live my faith

I have been teaching the 2 year olds at church for the past year. They are just starting to learn things about Jesus and right from wrong. As I prepare the little lessons for them, I find myself learning too. Even when they don't seem to be listening, they hear what I say. I am blessed to be working with such innocent children and see the love they have for others. They are a great example to me.
